"香港花卉" 特别邮票
香港邮政将於二○○八年三月十四日(星期五)推出
香港虽是弹丸之地，植物种类却极其繁多。本港已知植物逾3,100种，其中约有2,100种属本土品种。为让市民对这个植物宝库有更多认识，香港邮政於1985年发行 "香港花卉" 特别邮票，现再以同一主题推出六款邮票。新一辑的邮票采用淡素的背景，以细致的画工，描画出六种本港常见花卉。

$1.40 - 大红花
|
大红花又称扶桑，锦葵科，属常绿灌木。大红花具观赏价值，全年开花，以红色最为普遍，也有黄色、橙黄色。花开五瓣，中心长有雄蕊。大红花浓艳绚丽，靠鲜明的颜色、美味的花蜜吸引昆虫，以助传播花粉。

$1.80 - 红棉
|
红棉又名英雄树，木棉科，属落叶乔木。春夏间开红花，呈钟状。花开五瓣，以覆瓦状排列，可单生，亦可聚生於树梢。枝条轮生平展，叶互生，复叶成掌状。红棉高耸挺拔，开花后结成蒴果，种子随棉絮飘散，藉风传播。

|
黄蝉属常绿蔓性灌木，夹竹桃科。夏秋间开黄花，成漏斗状，内藏花蕊，枝条含乳汁。叶形椭圆，对生或轮生；叶柄短，叶端渐尖，叶背主脉长有柔毛。

|
杜鹃花又名映山红，杜鹃花科，属常绿灌木。杜鹃花属观赏植物，春季开花，有白、红、粉红等多色。花冠呈漏斗形，□形花序。叶互生，叶形椭圆，两面有毛，特点是叶脉伸出叶尖。

$3 - 荷花
|
荷花又称菡萏，睡莲科，属多年生水生草本植物。花开盛夏，有红、白、紫、粉红等多色。单生於花梗顶部，花瓣多嵌生在花托内，叶呈盾形。荷花香远益清，不但极具观赏价值，茎(藕)、果(莲蓬)、子(莲子)、叶等许多部分还可入馔入药。

$5 - 牵牛花
|
牵牛花俗称喇叭花，旋花科，属多年生攀援植物。夏秋间开花，有白、蓝、紫蓝、紫红等色。花冠呈漏斗形，通常独生，叶基心形。花瓣上深浅不同的纹路，正是指引昆虫的蜜标。牵牛花娇嫩柔美，早上开花，午间就会凋谢。 |

A Prague Exhibition Grounds from the year 1891, where
the 2008 Collector fair and the PRAGA 2008 exhibition will take place
PRAGUE - the capital of collectors in 2008. International fair Collector and World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA held jointly!
The international fair Collector is the biggest collectors' event in Central Europe. Nobody who engages in that noble hobby should miss it. Last year it was attended by 12,000 collectors, and one out of six came from abroad.
This year's eleventh annual fair, dedicated not only to philately but also to numismatics, old postcards, telephone cards, minerals and other fields, is being held jointly with the World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA, which is returning to Prague after twenty long years.
Don't pass up the chance to see the rarest uniques and the best exhibits and to get great buys from the more than two hundred dealers.
Awaiting you is historic Prague, the golden city of a hundred towers.
Come, whether over land or by plane.
From 12 to 14 September, the capital of the Czech Republic will be the capital city of collectors.

Already now following post offices confirmed their participation in Prague: Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, People´s Democratic Republic of Korea, People´s Republic of China, Slovakia, Slovenia, Republic of Srpska (Banja Luka), Switzerland, Taiwan, United Nations Postal Administration and, of course, Czech Post.
